How do we build an equitable media system outside of powerful corporations? “Cultivating a BIPOC Media System” brings together a diverse array of independent organizations to share best practices, challenges and innovations in the development of a sustainable, alternative media system.

This one-day virtual event (via ZOOM) explores issues facing media organizations run by and for Black, indigenous and people of color in the United States. Topics focus on the development and production of work by intersectional communities and sharing strategies for doing work in equitable, reparative and transformative ways.
